Collegia Catholic Boston
In Christ Together
VISION
To turn the American college experience into a cornerstone of encounter with Christ and His Church.
MISSION
To develop pathways for every student in Boston to fall in love with Christ and His Church during their college years.
STRATEGY
Meet the students.
Build the campus.
Transform the city.
We host city-wide faith and mentorship events that engage students across the Boston area. We develop growing campus ministries so that they can better serve students at their schools. Finally, we partner with national apostolates that love Christ radically and want to share him with others.
Our Story
The population of students, faculty, and staff—more than 300,000—among the colleges and universities within the Archdiocese of Boston represents an unparalleled opportunity to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church to all of Boston and the world. The current effective reach of university ministries engages barely 1% of this total. At same time, with great conviction, the Father in Heaven desires everyone to encounter and to know His Son Jesus. Nascent and established campus ministries across the more than 60 college and universities yearn for resources, strategy, support, growth, innovation, and collaboration to flourish as laborers to harvest this tremendous field. The extraordinary endeavor to participate in this mission of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, requires the collaboration of Faithful, bold, successful, experienced, and dedicated lay leaders. Hence the birth of Collegia Catholic Boston.
